Charlene McMann, Registered Massage Therapist

Charlene graduated from York University in 2007 with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology and Health Science.  Following that she attended Elmcrest College of Applied Health Sciences for Massage Therapy and graduated with Honours.  Since her graduation from Elmcrest in 2009, Charlene spent five great years working as part of the team at Nobleton Physiotherapy, where she gained valuable experience working with clients with varying sports, motor vehicle, and everyday-life injuries.  Charlene practices Swedish Massage Techniques, Trigger Point Release Therapy, Myofascial Release Therapy, as well as deep-tissue and pre-natal massage.  Charlene also has her Level 1 Sports Massage Therapy Certificate.

Charlene has great respect for natural and holistic healing, which inspired her to found Balance Health Studio.  Having grown up in King Township, Charlene truly appreciates country living and supporting local businesses.  With Balance Health Studio, she wants to offer local residents a space to come for a holistic approach to health care.  In each client Charlene treats, she engages in a commitment to help the client achieve his/her personal health goals, whether it is to overcome chronic pain, recent injury, or to achieve a state of decreased stress and greater well-being.  In addition, Charlene wants her studio to be an unimposing place clients willingly come because they have made a choice for better mental and physical health; a choice to find balance.
